Meeting Held Between ASA and the State Tax Service

A meeting was held between the management of the Azerbaijan Insurers Association and the leadership of the Main Department for Tax Policy of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.

During the meeting, ASA highlighted the challenges faced by insurance market participants in real practical operations within the insurance sector and presented key proposals for the development of the industry. The discussions focused on technical innovations deemed relevant for issuing electronic e-invoices by insurance organizations, as well as tax legislation matters concerning operations carried out by insurers.

In conclusion, an agreement was reached to further enhance public-private sector cooperation and to regularly study and analyze the opinions and proposals of entrepreneurs toward improving tax legislation.
