AIA Participated in an International Congress Held in Kazakhstan

Abas Miskarli, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Insurers Association, participated in the "4th Eurasian Congress - 2026" organized by the "Global Finance Association QRAFT" as part of his official visit to Kazakhstan.

The event, attended by insurance professionals, risk managers, and actuaries from more than 30 countries, featured panel discussions on key sectoral topics such as modern financial system design, the advantages of IFRS 17 and "Solvency II" standards, new challenges in the actuarial field, digitalization in insurance services, and the role of insurance in managing climate risks.

Speaking at the panel discussions, Abas Miskarli, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Insurers Association, provided insights into the current state, goals, and development prospects of the local insurance market, including the reforms implemented and the results achieved. In his speech, the Executive Director also specifically highlighted the growth-oriented importance of international relations for our local market and detailed the work accomplished within the framework of the Turkic World Insurance Association.
