Agricultural and perennial crops are insured against fire, hail, flood and frost. According to these rules, insurance coverage is provided for losses incurred by agricultural producers due to damage and destruction of agricultural crops as a result of these insurance events. The insurance amount for insurance of agricultural crops and plant products is calculated taking into account the area of the land where the plant is planted, the amount of the expected crop and its price. If it is a seedling, the insurance amount is calculated based on the market price of the seedling. If the insured plant is a tree or shrub, the insurance amount for its coverage is calculated taking into account three times the amount of the expected crop.
