ASA Participates in International Insurance Congresses in Turkey

A delegation led by Elmar Mirsalayev, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Insurers Association (AIA), participated in the 4th International Insurance Summit and the International Insurance Congress and Exhibition, which were organized within the framework of the 14th "Insurance Week" in Istanbul, Turkey. These year's events, attended by financial regulators and heads of insurance associations from more than 30 countries, as well as insurance experts and agents, were dedicated to the theme: "Digital Future: How Technology is Transforming the Insurance Sector?"

The special stand organized for the Azerbaijan Insurers Association at the International Insurance Congress and Exhibition was met with great interest by the event participants.

During the events organized within the 14th "Insurance Week," AIA Executive Director Elmar Mirsalayev held bilateral meetings with the Chairman of Turkey's Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency (SEDDK), Davut Menteş; the Chairman of the Insurance Association of Turkey, Uğur Gülen; the Chairman of the Association of Professional Participants of the Insurance Market of Uzbekistan, Oybek Khalilov; the Chairman of the North Cyprus Insurance and Reinsurance Companies Association, Börte Barlasoğlu; the President of the National Association of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies of Romania, Alexandru Ciuncan; and the Chairman of the Insurance Agents Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Nevzat Yavuz. During these meetings, he provided information about the Azerbaijani insurance sector and discussed mutual relations.
