A new cooperation was established to encourage entrepreneurs to obtain insurance.

A meeting was held between the Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Insurers Association (AIA), Elmar Mirsalayev, and the Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan-Turkey Businessmen Union (ATIB), Mursel Rustamov.

According to information provided by AIA, during the meeting, Executive Director Elmar Mirsalayev gave detailed information about the Association and the work carried out in the insurance sector. In his speech, he emphasized the important role of involving business entities in insurance as a key factor for economic resilience.

In turn, the Chairman of the ATIB Board, Mursel Rustamov, highly appreciated the reforms being implemented in the insurance sector and the observed market growth. He noted that the regular use of diverse insurance services by entrepreneurs is a major factor contributing to the sustainable development of the country’s economy.

The parties agreed to jointly work on systematically increasing insurance awareness among entrepreneurs and improving access to insurance services for business entities, and signed a memorandum of cooperation.
